UAE Restarts Some UK Flights After Week of War-Linked Disruptions
The airlines Etihad and Emirates have started resuming limited flights to the UK from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, respectively, after a week of massive cancellations resulting from the US-Israel-Iran conflict. Although the UAE is gradually opening up, the airspace over Qatar and Bahrain is closed, with many Britons opting to travel to Oman to board either government or commercial flights to the UK. The Foreign Office in the UK is advising people to use commercial flights, which are the fastest way out, although the "rapidly evolving" military situation, including the risk of drones and missiles, could change their travel plans in an instant.
